Unfortunately, we arrived late due to the Greyhound bus with three hours delay. We tried to do everything we planned to do. Would like to have spent more time at Graceland, such as visiting Elvis planes. Sun Studio tour was awesome, Beale St not too impressive. Found the music scene in Nashville better.

I was surprised at the number of medical facilities.
I was surprised at the number of medical facilities. I had heard Memphis is one of the most dangerous cities in America. So, I limited my excursions to daytime only. I passed on having to park at a parking garage and having to walk to Beale Street for an evening ghost tour.

For lovers of rock and soul music, it’s a great place to visit. Lots to see and hear. Good bars and restaurants, although food is almost exclusively fried. Peabody hotel with its duck parade is a lovely place to stay, or just visit. Graceland and Sun Studio well worth visiting.

Everyday was a new surprise - botanical gardens with tulips and dogwood at peak, art museum, Elvis' Graceland, walk across the Mississippi River on old train bridge, Lorraine Motel and National Civil Rights Museum, Sun Records Studio, big city shopping with NICE departlment store, Beale Street, South Main Street District, Chucalissa village of Mississipian culture mounds and great trails, rich neighborhoods, poor neighborhoons - and did I mention all the great food (real fried chicken, hush pupplies, fried okra, grits, bar-bq, coconut cake, pecan pie, Mississippi mud pie, and microbreweries to name a few. AND the people of Memphis are very friendly and welcoming.

This is a wonderful city to visit especially if you are interested in the music scene and the beginnings of rock and roll. There are many music related museums to visit, car museums and of course Graceland - which I highly recommend going to- even if you aren’t a huge Elvis fan. The museum is so well done , it’s quite fabulous. We went in a Mojo bus tour which had a musician onboard who was also the tour guide and super knowledgeable. That was great fun, we toured Sun Studio where many great musical talent emerged from.

First trip to Memphis. Came to see Graceland.
First trip to Memphis. Came to see Graceland. Booked hotel online. Probably would not have stayed there if just driving by. Didn’t appear to be best neighborhood. But location was close to Graceland. The staff was wonderful. There was gated parking which kind of scared me thinking I needed it but thankful they had it. Breakfast was wonderful! There is a Mexican restaurant in adjoining parking lot. Very good, again kind of scared me that they used a hand scanner to check for weapons before you go in. Hotel offered shuttle to Graceland which we used , very handy. We did not take in any other attractions in Memphis but loved our tour of Graceland. As far as the city, would probably not go back but showing my age. Too many people, too much traffic, I prefer National Parks and wildlife.
Able To Be Close to Downtown! Was celebrating a marriage proposal! Rented Luxury Room over looking Down Town with walk out Balcony acess over looking Down town Memphis paid Higher price for this kind of Stay and was put in a room facing a Alley told nothing could be done because was booked through booking.com not Hilton! Pool was not as pictures in we site showed very small water was cold left early on second day rented a different hotel room
We did not have much time in Memphis so I booked the Peabody because of its proximity to Beale Street and because of its ducks. I thought the duck ceremony was an overrated scam but in fact it was a great experience. Maybe the hotel is old but that also means that it has style & class. Checkout was extremely convenient as the bill was put under our door over night and we could use our hotel key card to leave the parking garage.
They canceled my reservation without telling me. I have talked to the person who was working here at that moment and she told me that Booking will give me my money back. After calling 4 times and talking to different booking assistant. They told me that the were relocating me and my friends: Finally, and sadly, we were no hotel to stay that night in Memphis (US). It was the worst experience of my life.
Locaion was good, only a short walk to restaraunts and bars. If you would rather take the tram then the nearest stop is just around the corner from the hotel. Everything you come to Memphis to experience is fairly close to the hotel including Beale st, the Civil Rights museum, the Lorraine Motel and the Sun recording studios.
Everything. Exterior of property is very clean and safe. From check in to check out everyone was polite and friendly. Hotel is very clean and comfortable from entrance to room. The restaurant breakfast buffet and service were good. Great location for the University of Memphis and surrounding Memphis area attractions.
The hotel and room was very clean and updated. The location was close to downtown, only a short drive to Beale street and all other downtown activities. The staff was friendly. I especially appreciated the 24/7 coffee available, and was very impressed with how good the coffee was.
The location of the property was good for visiting downtown Memphis (Beale Street, Peabody Hotel, etc). The property was an older brick building that is under renovation. The rooms were large and the kitchen was well equipped. Parking was available off street.
i loved the shower in the room. they had a nice pool area and the view from our room was amazing. you could see the river and the memphis bridge. the hotel was conveniently located by food places and a perfect distance to the river side
loved everything, the rooms, facilities, the coffee place to relax and have breakfast, a really cool, beautiful and comfortable hotel in the heart of Memphis, just across the Civil Rights Museum.
All amenities were Excellent. Breakfast was included and had a great variety of items to choose from .The room was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel for a stay in Memphis.
Great Hotel, absolutely top, great room and beautiful deco‘s. Breakfast was amazing, super steak at the restaurant delta‘s..
And on top of that, friendly employees.
Thank you so much…
This was the coolest hotel we have stayed at. Made our trip to Memphis really special. Decor was beautiful. The room had an eclectic feel. Pastries and Coffee were delicious.
Generally nice hotel within minutes walk of Beale Street. Ask for a room to the rear not front! Enjoyed a good evening at the bike night on Beale Street and visit to Graceland.
A really nice hotel but not in a good place for someone with no form of transport it cost 50 dollars to get into Memphis so would cost a lot to do that on a day to day basis.
Breakfast was good. The free parking place was excellent. Near the Beale street. The room was perfect and clean. Will definitely take this hotel again when visiting Memphis!
